Thai people eat Nam Phrik since ancient times.

This is the staple dipping sauce eaten with almost anything.
The ingredient are red birdseye chilis, shrimp paste, garlic, fish sauc, palm sugar, lime juice, tiny Thai eggplant or tiger eggplant. Pound all ingredient untill it mix well. Served with hot Thai rice, Fried mackerel and fresh or boil vegetable e.g. cabage, cucumber, carrot, Chinese green.
